Doc Proto Speaks on Becoming Summertime Refined #NOWTHATSHIPHOP Approved!

Doctor Malito Proto has been busy over the past few months at the “RosBox.” The self-proclaimed “ninja” made sure that the summer of 2016 would be memorable in many ways starting with a roster of new artists that he is managing and willing to bring to the forefront of the “Erie Hip-Hop” scene.
Doc has taken the “backseat” from performing for the summer, but he feels that this action had to be done for a good reason.
Doc stated, “I feel that the hip-hop scene in Erie needs a lot of guidance in terms of people that care about the artists’ career.”
Doc went on to say, “The scene in Erie is greatly in need of managers, promoters, and A&R’s. Basically a staff that can service the artist to take them to the next level.”
Doc took his own advice and began working in artist development. He used personal experience as an artist and meshed it with his entrepreneur skills to make sure that he assembled a great group of artists to become a part of the “Rosewell Enterprises” brand.
All of this magic has been coming out of a business that is influenced by the culture of hip-hop. This business is known as “The Box” which is street couture store that houses the “RosBox” studio in downtown Erie.
Doc’s artists Matt Breezy, MastaPlan, Crystal Garcia, and Criminal “CG” Ghosts are currently working on projects that are to be released before the end of 2016. Doc also announced he will soon release four new projects, which include: “Aly3n”, “Anatomy 2”, “The Genesis”, and the long awaited “Refined”.
